And God said unto Moses, I AM THAT I AM: -Exodus 3:14
When I was a child I thought that phrase from the Bible ‘I am that I am’ sounded so funny. I thought perhaps it was improper English or at the very least something had been lost in the translation.
But as the years have gone by I have found out that phrase encompasses the many facets of God. It’s become a reminder to me that whatever I need, He is.
In personal experiences of my life I’ve been sick; I needed a healer. . . He said, “I am”.
I’ve needed a refuge from life’s storms . . .He said, “I am”.
When I needed a hope. . . “I am.”
A counselor . . .“I am.”
I was lost; I needed a Savior. . .He said, “I am”.
Whatever the need, whatever the situation, I have found Him to be the answer. Anything I need, He is!
